What is The Bedford Garden Club doing at this moment?
A few of our members favorite support resources follow:
- Educating members and others with webinars on plastics and neonicotinoids
- Supporting a ban on the use of neonicotinoids
- Curbing the destructive use of plastic
- Encouraging the use of more environmentally friendly home and gardening products
- Encouraging the removal of invasive plant species
- Expanding the Pollinator Pathway
- Propagating and growing local native plants to support pollinators and to replace invasive plant species
- Advocating in support of environmental legislation
- Participating in the National Affairs and Legislation Committee of The Garden Club of America and supporting their environmental concerns
- Striving for each Bedford Garden Club member to “unleash the conservationist in all of us.”
